AMALGAM SEPARATOR INSTALLATION

Members of the Eighth District Dental Society are reminded that the deadline for installation of amalgam separators in dental facilities is

 May 21, 2008

Following the installation of an amalgam separator, written notification must be provided to the sewage treatment facility or sewer authority that the wastewater discharge is tributary to. Such notification must be submitted no later than 30 days following the May 21, 2008 deadline.
